Roaming Coordinator

Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Reporting to: Director, Roaming & Wholesale


Role

  • The Roaming Coordinator works as part of the Roaming & Wholesale team, which is responsible for establishing, launching, and managing Limitless Mobile’s roaming and wholesale relationships with wireless carriers globally as well as supporting the related billing and revenue assurance processes.
  • This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with a desire to build a career in telecommunications offering career progression options as the expertise and experience grows.

Tasks/Responsibilities

  • Contracting New Roaming & Wholesale Partners
    • Developing and managing data points for the roaming and wholesale market as well as various types of KPI’s as outlined by Management.
    • Analysing the data and KPI’s to identify improvements for Limitless Mobile’s roaming and wholesale proposition.
  • Launching New Roaming & Wholesale Partners
    • Working with roaming / wholesale partners as well as internal Network Operations Center (NOC) and Engineering teams to ensure that appropriate roaming documents (e.g. IR21) are exchanged, signalling configured and test SIM cards exchanged to facilitate quick preparedness for IREG and TADIG testing.
    • Working with roaming / wholesale partners as well as internal NOC and Engineering teams to conduct full roaming end-to-end IREG testing, including but not limited to, GSM (IR24), 3G (IR35), CAMEL prepaid (IR32/IR60), LTE (IR38), along with supporting billing validation and compliance with TAP.
    • Taking ownership of specific roaming partner engagements and managing those from preparation (post signing of agreement) to launch.
    • Working with roaming / wholesale partners as well as the NOC and Engineering teams to troubleshoot roaming issues and conducting re-tests as required.
  • Managing Roaming & Wholesale Partners
    • Administering roaming contacts, contracts, test SIM cards and other relevant roaming documentation, including internal reporting and sales tools.
    • Assisting in daily monitoring and validation of TAP and supporting data and financial clearing activities as well as billing and revenue assurance processes.
    • Conducting regular roaming quality tests and supporting NOC with roaming related troubleshooting as required.
  • Managing Roaming & Wholesale Partners
    • Desire for continuous self-development and developing skills and expertise across the roaming and wholesale function.
    • By demonstrating ambition and learning this role provides opportunities for career progression into e.g. Roaming Manager and roles.

Measurement

  • Multiple factors to be defined based on expertise and experience of the candidate.

Desired Expertise & Experience

  • Associate’s degree.
  • Basic understanding of cellular / wireless telephony with previous experience in roaming or working at a wireless carrier considered an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions

  • Work week 40 hours.

  • Lifting and/or ability to lift 20 lbs.
